Dermal fillers in Islington and King’s Cross, planned around the whole of your face rather than one line at a time. Filler can enhance, balance and restore your features for a naturally lifted, refreshed look. From soft definition to full-face rejuvenation, I add volume where it’s needed to bring your face back into harmony.
Most of my clients are women over 40 whose face has started to look more tired than they feel. Usually that isn’t a lack of sleep. It’s volume quietly moving or disappearing.
Facial balance, not isolated areas
I focus on overall facial balance rather than chasing individual lines. Every treatment is completely tailored: I carefully assess and measure your facial proportions and work in line with the golden ratio, so the result is balanced and natural looking.
The golden ratio is a classical set of proportions that has long been used as a guide to facial harmony. I use it as a guide, not a mould. Your features are yours. The aim is to bring them back into balance, not to make you look like anyone else.
For me, a great treatment is one that has friends and family struggling to place what specifically has changed, commenting instead on how ‘fresh’, ‘youthful’, ‘happy’ or ‘radiant’ a client looks post-procedure.

What is dermal filler?
Dermal filler is a soft gel made from hyaluronic acid, a substance your skin already contains. Hyaluronic acid attracts and binds water, so as well as restoring volume it can brighten and refresh the skin around it.
As we lose collagen, fat and bone density over time, cheeks flatten, temples hollow, and folds deepen around the nose and mouth. Carefully placed filler replaces a little of what has gone and supports what’s left.
Filler replaces volume. It doesn’t relax muscles: that’s what anti-wrinkle injections do, after a face-to-face consultation and assessment with me. If you’re not sure which you need, anti-wrinkle injections vs dermal filler sets it out.
Which areas can dermal filler treat?
Cheeks
Cheek filler is ideal if you’ve lost volume in the cheeks through natural ageing. It can correct asymmetry, soften pronounced nasolabial folds, give sharper cheekbones and generally bring back a fresher, more youthful look. 2ml is what I usually recommend.
Tear troughs (under-eye filler)
Tear trough filler reduces under-eye hollows and softens the shadows beneath the eyes. Because hyaluronic acid attracts and binds water, it brightens the under-eye area too. A complimentary review at 2 weeks is included. Not everyone suits tear trough filler. If you don’t, I’ll tell you, and polynucleotides may be the better route for dark circles and crepey under-eye skin.
Nasolabial folds, marionette lines and jowls
Filler here softens the lines and shadows that run from the nose to the mouth and from the corners of the mouth down, and restores youthful volume for a smoother look. The 2ml treatment is the one I consider best for anti-ageing.
Temples
Temples can hollow as we lose collagen, fat and bone density, which makes the face look tired or gaunt and throws off its balance. Filler softens the hollow, supports the brow and gives a more refreshed, lifted look.
Chin
A well proportioned chin blends gently into the face. Chin filler improves chin volume and balances facial proportions, and results typically last 12 to 24 months.
Jawline
Jawline filler creates a stronger, more defined jaw, improves balance and structure, and can help soften the look of jowls. After your assessment, I may recommend more than 2ml, depending on your anatomy and the result you want.
8 point facelift
The 8 point facelift uses a specific technique to place dermal filler at key points across the face to create a lifting effect.
Lips
Lips have their own page: see lip filler.

Rejuvenation packages
If you’ve read the list above and thought “a bit of everything”, one of my three Rejuvenation Packages is likely to suit you. Each one is completely tailored, planned around your facial proportions and the golden ratio.
- Lower Face Rejuvenation, £497, our most popular package. Filler to sculpt, define and balance the lower third of the face. Areas may include the jawline, chin, lips and marionette lines. Ideal if you’re noticing sagging around the jawline, loss of definition or downturned corners of the mouth.
- Mid Face Rejuvenation, £497. Filler to lift and restore volume through the centre of the face. Areas may include the mid cheek, cheeks and smile lines, plus tear troughs and temples where suitable. Ideal if you’re in your 40s or beyond and noticing volume loss through the cheeks or under the eyes, deepening smile lines or mid face sagging.
- Full Face Rejuvenation, £749. Overall facial balance, lifting, defining and rejuvenating while keeping a soft, natural look. Areas may include the cheeks, tear troughs and temples where suitable, smile lines, jawline, chin, lips and marionette lines. Ideal if you’re noticing overall volume loss, sagging or a tired look and want subtle, all-over rejuvenation.
What happens at your filler appointment?
Every filler treatment starts with an assessment. I carefully assess and measure your facial proportions, and we agree a plan together before anything happens.
Most treatments take 45 minutes. Most fillers contain a local anaesthetic, which helps keep you comfortable. You’ll see the result straight away, although swelling can take several days to settle.
Bruising and swelling are common after any injectable treatment, so plan your appointment for a time when you don’t have any big events coming up.
How long does dermal filler last?
Most hyaluronic acid fillers last between 6 and 18 months, depending on the product, the area treated and how quickly your body breaks it down. Areas that move a lot, like the lips, tend to fade sooner. Chin filler typically lasts 12 to 24 months.
Is dermal filler safe?
Serious problems with filler are rare, especially in experienced hands. The fillers I use are hyaluronic acid fillers, which can be dissolved if ever needed. I also dissolve filler, including filler done elsewhere.
The most important risk, though a rare one, is filler blocking a blood vessel, and I’m trained to recognise and manage this straight away. Before you leave, I’ll tell you what to look out for and how to reach me.
